Dangerous Recommendations #4 - Black Virgin - Sledgehammer Justice

A classic demo album here released in 1990. Black Virgin are a unique band combing the best of heavy metal, punk and thrash all into one.
Here we have 7 tracks of the black virgin classic sound. The songs are aggressive, loud and in your face. The production is ripping everything is heavy and clear yet still having that rough around the edges madness. The voice is very punk-ish power over many punky thrash metal riffs. I would say there is some Slayer, Motorhead, Raven and Judas Priest influences here. The band had a few releases before this one a album in 1986 and a single and demo and the early 80's.
I got into this album from one of my good friends around 2008 since then I have listen to it quite regularly over the years. It's a very catchy demo and very, very underrated. The choruses and verses are fist pumping mania and the riffs are somewhat simple but stick in your head.
After listening to so many bands and releases It's hard to compare or label black virgin to anything they are a great unique band.
The demo has been re-issued with the debut album Most likely to exceed by the label maltkross titled tribute to the cult of the virgin. Also Ortsid Latem Productions has various black virgin releases. Hunt them down.
